After a slight delay as a torrential downpour started right as we were all ready to head to the ceremony the skies cleared and Sarah & Jimmy were married at Beach Plum Farm in Ogunquit, Maine. Beach Plum Farm is a beautiful piece of conservation land that overlooks the ocean, sandbars and Ogunquit beach. Jimmy’s family has close ties to the land so it holds special meaning for them. After black skies and crazy rains, the clouds parted and they had the most beautiful sunshine right on them on this special piece of property nestled in the midst of Ogunquit. No one could take their eyes off of her and her Allure gown that literally looked like it was made for her. The beautiful combination of classic and beachy with her bridesmaids in Navy and the groomsmen in stunning grey was to die for.

Sarah and Jimmy are fun, loving and hugely silly and they are my favorite combination. I met Sarah when she was a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding and she is just the sweetest, most easy-going woman and I was sooo excited when she asked me to photograph their wedding. Since the moment I met Jimmy he was never afraid to be himself. Whether making hilarious faces at Sarah, his friends, or the camera directly he is the life of the party and never fails to bring out Sarah’s amazing smile. I don’t think he does anything small and he’s not afraid to involve everyone in his ideas to make sure everything is perfect…when he proposed to Sarah he did it in front of almost 7000 people, at his college graduation with an heirloom engagement ring from his mother’s side that’s been in his family since 1850. Their wedding was no different. In a fantastic crowd of their friends and family everyone could see their eyes constantly on each other as if no one else exsisted, in the best way possible. We were so honored to capture their day and freeze all the amazing moments for generations to come.
